Welcome to Year 3!

Who's who?

Your Class Teacher is Miss Dodd and your Learning Support Assistant is Mrs Owen.

PE and Forest School 

Year 3 is taught mostly by Miss Dodd with Mrs Owen the Learning Support Assistant. P.E lessons will be carried out by Mr Pearce on a Friday morning and by Miss Dodd on a Tuesday morning, please ensure all children are wearing suitable PE uniform. 

In the Spring Term children will have Forest school rather than PE with Miss Dodd, this will be taught by Miss Bishop. Children will need to wear suitable forest school attire for this.

Homework

Spellings 

Children will receive new spellings on their yellow folders on a Monday. These should be learnt at home daily and returned on Friday ready for our spelling tests.

Reading 

Children should read for 15 minutes at home everyday - including weekends! They can read both their homework books and a choice of their own, but please record the homework book first to help us check their reading levels. 

Maths

Maths homework will be sent home on Fridays in their blue folders to be returned on the Monday.
